Preventive Age® is an oil-free, anti-aging sunblock that moisturizes, protects, firms, nourishes and beautifies the skin daily. It helps fight the signs of aging like lines and wrinkles, loss of elasticity, brown spots and rough skin caused by the sun’s UVA and UVB rays.
UV light and environmental pollutants can trigger toxic free radicals (ROS) that break down collagen and age skin’s appearance. Preventive Age® energizes the skin’s defenses against the free radicals produced by UV light with powerful antioxidants such as Ergotheioneine (EGT), Astaxanthin, Nano Co-Q10, Apple Skin, Vitamins A, C, & E, Pine Bark, Grape Skin, Green Tea, Creatine, and SOD (superoxide dismutase).
Sugars in the skin can react with these free radicals and cause glycation, a cross-linking or stiffening of proteins like DNA and collagen. This reduces elasticity and causes wrinkling. Carnosine in Preventive Age® helps prevent free radical cell damage and glycation, so the skin stays firmer and younger looking.
Preventive Age also contains the Swiss ‘moisture magnet’, Pentavitin®, to hydrate and smooth the skin, helping it to retain moisture – even after washing; and Helioguard 365®, which boosts skin’s defenses against the harmful UVA rays which cause photoaging.
